A Perfect Day in the Wildwoods [Hour by Hour]

Published on

There are endless options for fun in the Wildwoods for every person who visits. Sometimes, we like to put some of these options together in the most perfect, fantastical 12 hours imaginable! What do you think… will you try to achieve this day next time you’re in town?

9AM The Fractured Prune is the ultimate spot to caffeinate first thing in the morning with a fresh coffee concoction, while perfectly satisfying your sweet tooth with a large array of donut options!

10AM Take a bike ride on the boardwalk after breakfast to really get your juices flowing. We suggest renting from Hassles, biking to the Fractured Prune, and going from there.

11AM If it’s Saturday, check out the Downtown Wildwoods farmers market. Pick up some fresh fruit or locally baked goods to snack on throughout the day.

12PM Beach time! Don’t forget your towel, a good book, lots of sunscreen, and sand toys for the kids.

1PM You don’t even have to get in the car to get a great lunch. Skip interrupting your day of sun and opt in for a fantastic pizza lunch at Sam’s Pizza Palace! (They also have Philly Cheese Steaks to die for and other sandwich options).

2PM Play a competitive round of mini golf across the road at Hassles & get some of the best ice cream in the world while you’re at it.

3PM After digesting lunch, head to one of Morey’s Water Parks for the hottest hours of the day for some cool wet fun!

4PM Take a break back at the Ivanhoe, relax, and get ready for the night ahead.

5PM Feeling crabby? Dine on delicious seafood at Rick’s Seafood House for dinner, a great place for the whole family.

6-9PM It’s starting to cool down as the sun sinks lower into the sky…. It’s the perfect (and most beautiful) time to play games, ride rides and people watch on Morey’s Piers!
